Off Grid Stone House
Here are the final images of our off grid stone house, before the rafters go on. Click any image to enlarge it, then use your browsers back button to return to this page.
In the top two photos, you can see the 'slip-forms' we used to create our stone walls. The slip-forms encase/stradle the stones and cement from either side.
In the bottom set of images, you can see where the cement was poured down into the slip-forms once the rocks were inside.
We wait for the cement to set and then, as you can see in the photo to the right, we easily chip away the excess cement.
Feel free to contact us about our off grid stone house, and our grass fed beef. We would love to hear from you.
