Tomato Beef


This tomato beef recipe will absolutely melt in your mouth! All of the flavors are just right for kids, they will love it!

It is so easy to make, it will be a regular in your kitchen, and everyone will want the recipe!

Sauté ;

3 crushed cloves of garlic, 1 large onion, and 2 stalks of diced celery in 1tbsp of butter. Then add 4 diced fresh, large tomatoes or add 1 can (540 ml) diced tomatoes. Simmer.

Mix ;

1/2 cup olive oil, 1 Tblsp honey, 2 tsps parsley, 1 tsp basil, 2 tsps oregano, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1 tsp sea salt, 1/2 tsp of celery salt. Add to simmering mixture.

Take ;

2lbs of round steak (1pkg) thaw slightly (meat is easier to trim when not completely thawed). Trim to desired leanness and cut into strips. Place in slow cooker or slow oven with:

Sea salt, Worcestershire or Bragg sauce, celery salt and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper.

Pour Sauté ingredients over meat. Cook between 275 and 300 degrees, for at least two and a half hours. (Go relax!)

Meat is done when it can be easily cut with a fork.

Serve with your favorite pasta or rice.
